There will be two scheduled ‘make-up master class days’ during the year if a lesson is unable to be switched

Summer Fiddlin Around Camp

Summer Fiddlin Around Camp is CANCELLED due to low enrollment.

I am sorry for those who wanted to participate, and will be glad to help you find other summer music camps and opportunities. There are some really great Suzuki Camps around the US in the summer, as well as some general music camps locally.

Meanwhile, private lessons for the summer are available - and also an opportunity for a summer Graduation Play-In with swimming and pizza.

Stay tuned for time and place for the Graduation Play-In !

Master Class

Sorry about the last Master Class post, it didn't post correctly for some reason.

Master Class for those who missed lessons this month will be on Friday April 29th at the Church at 3303 Belcher Rd. from 4:30-6:30.

Please email or call me to register for this Master Class so I can prepare for the best format for private lesson spacing.

Also - I cannot get my Yahoo Calendar to respond correctly since Yahoo updated it. I may have to change to another calendar, or just find time to edit the Yahoo calendar again.

May 2-6 I will be out of town performing in Gainesville - No Lessons that week.

Makeup lessons

I found this article which explains the Ottowa Suzuki Association's policy on Makeups for missed music lessons.

Although I totally agree with the article, every effort will be made on my part to make sure that plenty of times are available for makeup lessons. I realize that there are many times that I must re-arrange lessons to keep up the performance schedule that I keep. By performing in professional orchestras, I keep my abilities as a teacher honed and become an even better teacher for my advancing students.

Please read this article :

Next Lessons on Thursday Jan 13

I have re-arranged my travel dates to allow for me to help my new granddaughter come home and settle in!

I will start private lessons on Monday Jan 17. If I am able to have a master class next week, I will send a schedule out.

Thanks for your support and I'll keep you posted!

Sensai's new granddaughter will be here Friday!

Miss Virginia's daughter will be induced on Friday Jan 7, so hopefully we will have baby Kash either Friday or Saturday. I am scheduled to come back to Florida on Monday evening, January 10, and begin lessons and classes again on Tuesday Jan. 11. I will post more when I know how things are progressing. There is still a chance that I may stay in Texas thru the end of next week. I'll let you know and post a picture when I can!
