Missed classes and makeups are at the teacher’s discretion. Make- up lessons will not be given for less than 24 hour notice, unless the teacher grants exceptions for true emergencies. A Studio calendar will be posted with phone numbers so that students may schedule a lesson time ‘switch’ if they need to make changes due to conflicts with other important events.  There will be two scheduled ‘make-up master class days’ during the year if a lesson is unable to be switched. If a make-up lesson is missed, the lesson is forfeited and may not be rescheduled again.

Florida Suzuki Institute

Also, don't forget that the Florida Suzuki Institute's 1st EVER Suzuki Camp is from June 10 - 15 at Eckerd College in St. Pete.
You should definitely make every effort to attend - it is a wonderful experience for your family with world class Suzuki teachers - and a chance to make great music friends from other places!
Worth every $ and sacrifice to go, I guarantee!

Parents as Partners

Don't forget to check in on Parents as Partners Online at the Suzuki Association if you have been signed up! I haven't had time to see all the videos, but the ones I have seen are GREAT! Yesterday I watched a video by Sarah Bylander Montzka that was about movement, and some of her ideas are new and fun for home or group class!

Play in Fun

Wow, it sure has been a long time since I worked on this blog! I am frustrated with it because I don't know how to utilize everything on the site. I can't seem to upload pictures, etc.
We had a great play in last Saturday, Feb. 18th. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the music was great! The audience loved it, especially our Pachelbel Canon! I heard so many compliments!
I wish I had even had time to take one picture.
If any of you took pictures, please send them to me, so I can try AGAIN to upload one to this site!
